The Corporate staff located in Naples is composed of leadership as well as support functions including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, recruiting, business analysis, and information technology.

OVERVIEW OF WHAT YOU'LL DO
As the HR Payroll Specialist, you'll be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of AvAirPros’ monthly and bi-weekly payroll in Workday through ADP. Monthly payroll includes approximately 250 staff; bi-weekly payroll is approximately 50 staff.
Other responsibilities are employee expense report processing in Workday and maintaining Company stock ownership ledgers in Excel.
This role requires expertise, diligence and attention to detail and close coordination with accounting, human resources, business analysis and other groups to ensure completeness and accuracy. In this role, you have direct dealings with corporate management and employees nationwide.
SPECIFICALLY WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Gather and compile all necessary information for payroll each month including salary changes, hours worked for by-weekly employees, profit sharing awards, employee withholding requests, Workers Comp rate changes, benefits cost changes, etc.
- Be or become proficient at operating the AvAirPros Workday payroll business processes
- Develop and maintain a working relationship with ADP
- Become proficient at operating the AvAirPros Workday expense report business processes
- Coordinate, interface and follow-up with employees who need to correct their expense reports
- Interface with accounting to ensure employee expense reimbursement is accomplished in a timely manner
- Ensure that complete expense report data is available in a timely manner for monthly client invoicing
- Develop working knowledge of Corporate Accounting terminologies, procedures and practices in Workday
- Coordinate stock ownership changes with human resources
- Update ownership stock ledgers and confirm revisions with accounting
- Distribute stock ledgers and ownership reports monthly
- Prepare payroll, reimbursed expenses, stock ledgers and/or Ownership reports as requested for management
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of payroll processing experience preferred
- 1-3 years of Workday and ADP experience preferred
- Knowledge of employer and employee payroll tax requirements
- Knowledge of accounting practices and procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
- Can not emphasize the importance of Excel skills enough
- Also can not emphasis the preference for experience with Workday and ADP enough
- Strong customer service-oriented attitude
- Self-driven with the ability to work in a dynamic work environment

- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related major
