We have an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance Team based at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
As the Senior Accountant, you'll report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for ensuring contractual compliance and billing for specific cost and profit centers. This includes ERP invoicing/receivables and collection of deposits, as well as administration of client and facility contracts. Additionally, you will own the responsibility of producing reports and providing analysis for the Director of Finance and Senior Director of Finance.
Other responsibilities include:
- Timely communication and response to clients and colleagues
- Client and tenant invoicing and receivables collection and ensure the accurate and timely collection of all receivables
- Client pre-billing and associated accounting journal entries
- Administer client and tenant security deposits and letters of credit
- Monitor and update assigned client and tenant cost and profit centers.
- Minimum Annual Guarantee (MAG) calculation and invoicing
- Invoicing adjustments, including entries into the General Ledger
- Prepare, review, and analyze Aged Receivable Schedules
- Identify and resolve financial issues related to account receivables and general ledger entries
- Support accounts payable as requested
- Able to work efficiently and independently in various IT platforms including Oracle NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Office
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance
Qualifications:
- AS or BA/BS in Accounting
- 3+ years experience working with an ERP system
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (worksheet construction, analysis)
- Experience in debt and receivable collections
- Customer Service experience a plus
